EDIT 2023: Designer now ships with a non-uniform rotation node. I still use my HSL node all the time though!
I'm happy to share with you three nodes I have created:
– Non-uniform HSL
The purpose of this node is to create colour variation from simple colours, and to help in colourizing flood fills. With this node you can have a simple colour base and use patterns or noises to tweak hue, saturation and lightness. Each parameter has its own input and can also be tweaked by sliders to adjust intensity.
– Non-uniform rotation (greyscale and colour)
This is a node to really break up a pattern. It rotates your input based on another greyscale input, which lets you control exactly how much an area will be rotated. Using noises as input allows you to create some nice radial disruption, like the example at the bottom.
You can get the nodes in my shop, or on Gumroad: https://gum.co/non-uniforms
